***NO LONGER PROVIDING REPAIR SERVICES***

Each firearm is evaluated on an individual basis to determine the alteration or custom work to be performed, and to determine what is needed to complete it.

Once that is done, the extent and cost of work required will be estimated for your approval before any work is implemented.

Each gun will be function & safety checked before it leaves the shop, and most will also be test-fired.

We accept local walk-in business (by appointment only) as well as work shipped from anywhere in the USA.

FFL Transfer Fees and Requirements

Transfers:
There is a $25.00 firearm(s) transfer fee (Type 01, non-Class 3).

Please contact IBX Gunworks before having any firearm(s) shipped to us.

I will accept incoming transfers from both FFL’s & individuals (where state law permits a firearm(s) transfer directly to an FFL from the individual). Federal regulations require that we know the identity of anyone shipping firearm(s) to a FFL. It is absolutely necessary for an individual shipping the firearm(s) for transfer to provide a legible copy of their driver's license or state-issued identification card with the firearm(s). (Those who do not provide this information will have the firearm(s) returned, C.O.D. for shipping and handling charges.)

Please provide seller / firearm dealer's name and contact information (such as address, phone number, fax, or e-mail address) and product description before shipping. Before receiving the firearm(s) from another dealer, a copy of my FFL must be sent to that dealer. WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A COPY OF OUR LICENSE TO ANY INDIVIDUAL OR NON-FFL HOLDER. I will only provide the first three and last five numbers of our FFL to private inviduals. They can confirm our authenticity via the ATF's "E-Z Check" Website.

Shipping dealer can mail, fax, or email an ink signed copy of their FFL or MUST enclose a ink signed copy along with invoice or packing slip indicating purchaser name and firearm(s) details including serial number with the firearm(s).

I will ONLY handle receiving the firearm(s), and the transfer paperwork involved. YOU are responsible for payment, taxes, shipping, handling or any other fees associated with the purchase of the firearm(s) before shipping to us.. Any C.O.D. shipments will be refused!

Please get a tracking # from your seller. I will not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft incurred during shipping.

All firearms of any type MUST be shipped to require adult signature upon delivery.

Make sure you can legally take ownership of the firearm(s) in question before having them shipped. Background checks WILL NOT be conducted prior to a firearm(s) shipment to determine if you are eligible to posses it. No firearm(s) will be released to anyone other than the person named on the receipt shipped with the firearm(s). The individual who comes in to fill out the Form 4473 paperwork for the firearm(s), MUST be the actual purchaser of the firearm(s).

If receiving a handgun (pistol or revolver) you will need either a valid NC Concealed Handgun Permit, or a NC Pistol Purchase Permit (1 pistol purchase permit per handgun).

Upon receipt, I will contact the buyer to make an appointment to complete the transaction.
If you are unable to receive the firearm(s) for any reason, including, but not limited to being denied by NICS on the Form 4473, you are still responsible for all transfer fees and all expenses to ship the firearm(s) back to the original FFL holder/seller, and you will have to make arrangements for a refund with them. You have thirty (30) days from the time you are notified that you cannot receive the firearm(s) to make arrangements to ship the firearm(s) back or the firearm(s) becomes property of IBX Gunworks and all monies paid by you will be forfeit.

There is no warranty on transferred firearms. In the event of a wrong/unsatisfactory firearm, I will ship it back for you (within 7 days of receiving firearm) for the cost of shipping without charging a second transfer fee. If you have a problem with it, that is between you and the dealer / individual you purchased it from.

To keep transfer costs to a minimum, payment must be made in cash. I do not accept personal checks, credit or debit cards in payment for FFL transfers.

Can You Ship That Gun to That FFL Holder in Another State? To Anyone in Your State?May a nonlicensee ship a firearm through the mail?
A nonlicensee may mail a shotgun or rifle to a resident of his own State or to a licensee in any State. Handguns are not mailable. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. A nonlicensee may not transfer a handgun to a non licensed resident of another State.
The Postal Service recommends that long guns be sent by registered mail and that no marking of any kind which would indicate the nature of the contents be placed on the outside of any parcel containing firearms.
A carrier (UPS,FedEx,etc.) must be notified that the shipment contains a firearm. In addition, Federal law prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm.
[18 U.S.C. 922(a)(2)(A) and 922(e), 27 CFR 178.31]

Outbound Transfers:
Outbound transfer fee:$25.00 plus shipping charges.

If you do not package the firearm(s), or do not package it adequately, additional packing charges may apply.

I ONLY ship / transfer firearm(s) to valid FFL’s only (not to individuals). Once you know where to send the firearm(s), have that dealer mail, email or fax me a copy of their FFL signed in ink. I must have this on file before shipping.

Inquire from dealer as to which shipping method and carrier they prefer (UPS, FedEx or USPS). If shipping a handgun, it MUST ship next day air or faster. All firearms of any type MUST be shipped to require adult signature upon delivery.

Firearm(s) will be insured for the value you tell me. If it is damaged or lost and is underinsured - you will have to file a claim with the carrier for the damage or replacement costs. If you elect NOT to insure the firearm(s), I will ship it at your own risk and I will NOT be responsible for damage, loss or theft while in transit. I am NOT responsible once it leaves my shop.

**Any exceptions to the above agreements must be made in advance and may be subject to additional fees. IBX Gunworks has the right to cancel any transaction, any time, for any reason.**

Prices and services effective March 1, 2017 and are subject to change without notice.
